Past (teen)

Kohshiroh is a very closed off person with a seemingly unbreakable exterior. She's constantly on the defensive and always has an attitude to match. It's exceedingly difficult to get her to be vulnerable with you, and no matter how much she may care about you, it's rare that she will be nice and friendly towards you. Regardless of how blunt and brash she can be, deep down she is very caring and fears taking things too far. For her, being this way is not a choice but a necessity for her survival. Putting her guard down would be destroying the only protection she believes she has. Few have had success gaining her trust and breaking down her walls other than her little brother Mitsuro, and her (sequel) partner Eisuke. She still very much struggles to express herself and her feelings around them, but she feels much safer doing so than she would with anyone else.

Kohshiroh's desperation to protect himself stems from his very difficult childhood full of harsh mistreatment that has left him permanently scarred. Not only has he known nothing but cruelty, but he has taken a lot of lives of his own. He believes he's far past the point of no return, and there is no redemption for him. The best he thinks he can do is make sure no one else has to suffer like he did, resulting in his current vigilante-esque lifestyle where he rids the world of the worst of the worst scumbags. He believes that if he doesn't do this, no one else will. And if someone's going to do it, it might as well be him, who has nothing else left to live for and nothing to lose, as per his extremely self-sacrificial nature.

Though this typically goes unrecognized by others and she's usually demonized by almost everyone around her, she has very high morals and always stands up for her beliefs. She frequently gets frustrated by everyone's moral standards seemingly being considerably lower than her's, despite them trying to play hero with a lack of dedication and simultaneously treating Kohshiroh like the worst of the squad. She always feels deeply misunderstood as a person, and as if she never will be understood. She finds the most solace in Eisuke because he is the only one who comes close to understanding, a feeling they mutually share. She also feels as though, due to her frequent erraticism, she's never truly taken seriously and is just the wackjob of the group.

Getting to know Kohshiroh on a personal level often results in failure, as most give up far too soon and aren't willing to put in the loads of effort it takes to break down his walls. But when you look past the angry, bitter surface, he really loves his friends and humanity in general. All he wants is for everyone to live in peace without worry. He always looks out for everyone in his own way to the best of his ability, but he never feels like he's doing enough, especially considering he's "not allowed" to be vulnerable.

Kohshiroh loves art, though when her father was around, she was banned from this hobby and could only do so in secret. But drawing and painting is very important to her, and is her one true outlet for everything she keeps pent up inside. After her father's death, she has reclaimed a lot of things in her own life such as her hobbies and identity, things that were robbed from her by being raised in such a toxically masculine space. Though she's now finally able to feel some semblance of happiness again, she never truly feels whole.

Kohshiroh is an East Asian Japanese person about 5'8/173cm in height. She has a more masculine, lean body with a lot of muscle in most areas. Her hands are very rough and calloused, and her right eye is missing. She has a lot of scars on her body aside from her face.

He has a more diamond shaped face with upturned monolid eyes. His left pupil is cyan with deep orange accents, and his right, though missing, is cyan with blue accents. His lips are more round, and he has sharp shark-like teeth. His hair is straight and light brown. It gets a little wavy at the ends.

On her upper body she wears a red longsleeve shirt with a black sweater on top of it with a dual toned red rectangle design. For bottoms, she wears red and black Tripp pants with various chains and embellishments. Her shoes are black ankle boots with black soles that have a bit of red that peeks through. Her ears are pierced and she wears a black stud and a cross earring on both ears.

• She's an artist who especially loves pen sketching and painting though she abandoned this for awhile for lack of approval from his father
• He doesn't get much sleep, only being able to in the mornings. At night he takes care of personal business.
• While in the old days he would simply kill whoever his father told her to regardless of their innocence, nowadays she chooses to only target more depraved individuals, like for example, those who bring harm to children.
• She is one of few characters who intends to prioritize mafia/detective work for the rest of her life and doesn't see himself doing anything else when he's older. Though, this is mostly due to her own negative self perception that she believes he can never do anything else let alone come up with a different aspiration.
• She knows he's not the best at it, but he enjoys alternative fashion and putting outfits together
• In the outfit she wore as a teen, her jacket used to belong to her father. The rest of the outfit corresponds with what her father believed was "most appropriate attire."
• He really loves music, particularly general rock, punk, emo, metal, things in that vein. It brings solace to her.
• He uses an axe simply because he found it in the shed in his childhood. She's been keeping it in pretty good condition ever since.
• Kohshiroh was born with heterochromia, her left eye resembling his mother's. This was the cause of his father removing it, but he would claim it was for organ trading all her life.
